RULES & INFORMATION 2017

 

1. See rules in front of book

2. A copy of liability insurance must be provided and  a minimum of $1 million carried or you have your OEF Card present

3. All exhibitors must be in appropriate attire - All  exhibitors must wear helmet

4. All exhibitors must be members of the Lakefield  Agricultural Society $7.00

5. Please mail entries to Secretary, Lakefield Fair, Box 1444, Lakefield, ON, K0L 2H0

6. All inquiries can be made to (705) 760 -3583

7. Entries for Stakes Classes will be $10.00 made day of show - 100% payback - Paid out 1st - 50%, 2nd -30%, 3rd - 20% - to be made day of show only.

8. Prize money: $17.00, $14.00, $12.00, $10.00, $7.00

LINE CLASSES

1. Sr. Showmanship

2. Jr. Showmanship

3. Stakes Hunter on line - 100% payback - Paid out 1st - 50%, 2nd - 30%, 3rd - 20%

 

PERFORMANCE CLASSES

4. Walk - Jog * Cannot cross entry in any other Performance Class

5. Sr. Pleasure

6. Jr. Pleasure

7. Stakes Pleasure - 100% payback - Paid out 1st - 50%, 2nd - 30%, 3rd - 20%

8. Sr. Equitation - Pattern may be used

9. Jr. Equitation - Pattern may be used

10. Open Working Hunter under saddle

11. Open Hunter Hack over 1 jump

12. Green Hunter over Fences - X rail - Open to any horse or rider but cannot show in any other fence class

13. Open Low Hunter - max 2’6”

14. Handy Hunter over fences - max 3’

15. Open Equitation over Fences - max 3’ Fun Classes

16. Hunter Challenge Stakes - 100% payback - Paid out 1st - 50%, 2nd - 30%, 3rd - 20% - Jumps will be awarded points and a time limit will be set -  jumps will vary in size.

The Lakefield Agricultural Fair is organized by the Lakefield Fair Board and the Lakefield Agricultural Society
